Koofteh rizeh,A delicious food

Today I made this wonderful food which is from the west of Iran, Kermanshah. I am not from Kermanshah but I love to try traditional Iranina food from all over Iran.
I decided to share with you this delicious experience, so here you are:(with this amount I got 12Koofteh as can be seen in the photos)

Ingredient:
Minced meat ......................................................300gram
Onion ...................................................................2 middle size
Split peas .............................................................half a cup
Rice ......................................................................half a cup or even less
Eggs .....................................................................2small size or 1 big size
salt, pepper, turmeric........................................as much as needed
wheat flour .........................................................2table spoon
Sugar ...................................................................2 table spoon
tomato paste ......................................................2tablespoon
Verjuice or sour orange juice ...........................2poon
Dried vegetables including( Savory,Log,Mint,Tarragon)..1 table spoon

First we cook the split peas with enough water. then mash it.
secondly, we put all the wheat flour in a pan and cook int for almost 5minute until the smell of flour changes.
then grate one of the onions into the meat.add mashed split peas and one spoon of wheat flour to it. also add some salt some pepper and turmeric and around 1/4 spoon of dried vegetables.
now leave it to rest and start preparing the sauce .
for the sauce grate another onion and put it in a pot with 3spoon oil (whatever you like) then after it started to change color add some turmeric and pepper and one other spoon of wheat flour and 2spoon of tomato paste fry it for 3to 5minutes.add the rest of vegetables to it and then the rice and around 4cup(big one) water. when it started to boil add some salt and sugar and 2spoon of verjuice or sour orange juice which I prefer.let it to boil for around 10minutes.
now it's time we go back to Koofteh.
add the eggs to meat and massage it as well as you can. take a small ball of it and fry it into a hot oil in a pan.after frying all meatballs put them in the sauce and let boil for another 15 to 20 minutes.the sauce must be thick.
the taste is very optional you can choose either sweet by adding more sugar or sour by adding more sour juice.
here is some photo from mine( I don't know why my meatballs are nor round!)

Still we have not had it. in fact it is for tomorrow lunch since I will be busy for tomorrow I made it today.that's why I don't have decorated it yet.
